THE PINK ELEPHANT PROJECT

My Story.

The Pink Elephant Project grew out of my own experience with isolation, struggle, and finding purpose through art.

During the pandemic, I found myself alone and struggling to know what to do or where to go in life. I was feeling like I had reached my end. I started painting to fill time and realized it was a good place to put my feelings.

Art helped give me a reason to move forward everyday. What began as a way to survive a difficult chapter of my life eventually became something bigger. I found a real desire to help in the world where I can, while using creativity to help other people feel seen.

That’s where the Pink Elephant comes in.

“The elephant in the room”—the thing everyone knows is there, but no one wants to acknowledge. Mental health struggles, addiction, loneliness, trauma, grief, disability, and countless other challenges can become those elephants.

The Pink Elephant represents the things we don’t talk about and the people we often overlook.

The Pink Elephant isn’t something we’re supposed to get rid of. It’s something we’re finally willing to see.

This project is about breaking silence, creating connection, and using art to turn difficult experiences into something meaningful. I want it to be a place where people can share their stories, support causes that matter, create together, and know that they are not invisible.

Because sometimes changing someone’s world begins with something very simple:

See what others overlook.
Hear what others don’t talk about.
Make the invisible visible.

That is why I created the Pink Elephant Project.
